Decreased appetite, loss of pleasure and interest in the movement might be along with other symptoms caused by the weakening of the immune system. Viral infection then triggers the cold, which is demonstrated by discharges from the nose and eyes, sneezing, redness of the throat and cough. If the cough is dry, rough and associated with emesis or vomiting, discharge from nose and eyes is watery and clear, it may indicate a complex respiratory disease or infectious tracheobronchitis.
The symptoms described can be positively influenced by the administration of veterinary products containing vitamins and trace elements (B, C, D, E vitamins, iron, zinc). Products supporting immunity can even prevent cold like in humans. Vitamins and trace elements with a beneficial effect on the vitality and immunity are contained in the veterinary pruduct Digestive Care and Heart and Blood Vessels Care.
Cold and infectious tracheobronchitis usually do without antibiotic treatment as they are often caused by viruses. If nose discharge, coughing, gagging and vomiting persists even after 1-2 weeks, or leads to deterioration, we recommend a visit to a vet.
