How to care for the paws and nose?

The importance of the sense of smell and healthy paws of the dog does not need to be discussed. Application of appropriate unscented veterinary ointment can greatly relieve the outdoor activities even in extreme weather conditions and thus protect the sensitive and vulnerable parts of dog´s paws. When a veterinary product is properly applied, it can protect paws from frost and road salt corrosion in the winter and also protect nose against the hot sun in the summer.

When to see a vet?

Intensive sunlight can cause solar erythema or eczema in breeds with little pigmented muzzle. A visit to a vet is also recommended whenever nose or paws have been injured. Pigment changes on the nose can also be caused by a serious weakening of the immune system. In these cases, seeing a vet should not be ommited.
